Team V Brighton
Back to it then,

Adrian
Collins Ogbonna Rice
Zab Noble Kouyate Cresswell
Antonio Mario
Hernandez

This is my choice

Think Moyes will go

Adrian
Collins Ogbonna Rice
Byram Zab Noble Kouyate Cresswell
Mario
Hernandez

Same as per Palace, Antonio, Fonte and Hugill to get some minutes

My main concern is the Brighton bench will strong enough to support the ample backsides of Huggy and Antonio.
If you are situated near the bench wear your safety glasses just in case

Trying to think of a bustler we've had up front and all I can come up with is Brian Dear.
Stag was definitely a bustler, but one with a keen eye for goal. Just ask Peter Shilton.
The trouble was he was usually overwight and as a result a bit unfit. Let's hope Hugill isn't.

Re: Team V Brighton
According to Moyes Huggy's greatest attribute is that he "Bustles".
Now not entirely sure how that fits with the modern game or what the other fellow we signed will make of it but here's hoping

---------------------------Adrian

---------------Collins--Ogbonna--Rice

Zabaleta---Kouyate--Noble(c)--Mario--Cresswell

--------------------------Antonio

------------------------Hernandez

Subs:
Hart, Byram, Fonte, Haksabanovic, Cullen, Hugill, Quina

Assume the following remain out:

Reid, Carroll, Lanzini, Arnautovic, Obiang, Masuaku Fernandes..

It's worth stating again just how PAPER THIN our squad is now! Even if everyone was fit, by my reckoning we only have 21 non-academy senior pros on the books, with only Rice who's really worth anything remaining in the academy.

Well I'm 44 now so I've waited a long time for this. That said, the touch and vision are still there - natural ability like mine never leaves you. I'm a number 10 so when Super Mario's blown his beans around the hour mark, I'll give the Jock the eyes and start limbering up.

Irons.

Today's PR is about the Mario-Hernandez link-up.

For what that is worth to determining who starts.

I understood earlier that Arnie would be fit 'next week', so is that for the Watford game rather than the Brighton one?

I'll be interested to see if Moyes goes for Rice's match fitness or Fonte's experience. Likewise Byram/Antonio.

agree with your team Justin P, not bad considering the injuries we've had.

Re: Team V Brighton
If Antonio is fit he should start we need a threat going forward and him, Mario and Chico could be a promising trio

Byram had a good game vs Palace ? Blimey. Hope not to see him have a bad one any time soon. Look, the kid's brave and always puts in a shift. He's just not a PL standard player.

Re: Team V Brighton
Byram had his one good game in 6 against Palace but i agree Zaba was doubling up on Zaha helping him out massivly. Bloke dives in and clamps people and picks up way to many bookings

They have that tricky south american winger too who will probably roast him

Byram's crossing was certainly better than the Cup games.

He was getting tons of help defensively against Palace and still picked up a card and really should have had one much earlier. The defensive part of his game still scares me.

I do agree that Antonio needs to play his way back in.
